What's New in the News -----Today's Headline ---- Clemen's Hall of Fame Career Flawed by Steroids Senator Mitchell's much anticipated report was released yesterday and several big named stars were named. Roger Clemens, Andy Pettitte, Brian Roberts, Chuck Knoblauch, David Justice, Mo Vaughn, Paul Lo Duca, Denny Neagle, Miguel Tejada, Mike Stanton, Fernando Vina, Kevin Brown, Eric Gagné, Brendan Donnelly and Rondell White were a small sample of ball players mentioned in the list.
Several players are denying any of the findings in the report. "Roger Clemens adamantly, vehemently, and whatever other adjectives can be used, denies that he has ever used steroids or ... improper substances," Clemens' attorney, Rusty Hardin, said Thursday.
